All of these names are worthy. I would be happy with just a small subset of them.
I recognize that this is a business and you have to look at this through the eyes of the promoter and which names would be profitable (or at least break even). Perhaps some of the local guys--Paul Gibson, Mike Bruhert, Pete Harnisch, Bill Pulsipher come to mind-- and some of the relatively local guys--Bill Almon, Dave Schneck, Gil Flores come to mind--might be doable.

Yeah injuries ruined what could have been, but how about Generation K with Jason Isringhausen, Bill Pulsipher, and Paul Wilson. I have some items left over I'd like to get done.

I echo most people here, that I would really love it if Tom Seaver was willing to do one more show. To me Seaver, Koosman, Piazza, Wright, and Reyes, would form a knockout show. After those guys, everything else would be gravy! Wright & Reyes headline Saturday, and Piazza, Seaver, & Koosman headline Sunday.
If you could pull that off, you can't have it in a hotel, LOL. My hope, is that's why you haven't named a site yet. I check the site everyday hoping for updates, and I think it'll be a fun 6 plus months getting ready for a big Mets show.
I don't think I could add anyone that hasn't been named yet, but I really hope you can get at least a few of the older guys such as Ron Hunt, Rod Gaspar, & Gary Gentry. The '86 Mets are always around, but some have been more elusive, like Rick Aguilera, and Danny Heep. Bob Ojeda doesn't do many shows. Neither does Al Leiter or Cliff Floyd, but I think there would be lots of Mets fans interested in getting them.
Anyway, thanks again Mollie.

I think we all agree with you on Seaver, but I think the odds are slim and none. Mollie has basically said he most likely isn't going to do a show again, and I think he would even be hard to pin down for a private signing (if they could have, I suspect they would have). I hope she can work a miracle, but I'm not counting on it. Agree on everything else. There was some chatter on the SHL board about Gary Gentry being in an assisted living home in Arizona. I know he managed a subsidized housing complex for senior citizens in Arizona...I hope that's the source of confusion because he would be a GREAT addition.

Guys,
For those of you that know me a long time, you know my relationship with The Franchise. If you remember, some of you told me to stop bringing Seaver and yogi to shows. They were there every week. Lol Be careful what you wish for. I'm pretty safe at saying Tom Seaver will probably never do another public again. A private might be a dream too! When I talked to him yesterday, he sounded great and was pruning his vines in the vineyard. That's where he's the happiest!
There's always hope for a private. So let's hope.

Thanks for the update Mollie. I have a Shea piece that I started not long after the Citi Field show that I desperately want to add Seaver to (who knew that would be his last public signing!).
I'm genuinely happy for him that his health has improved and he is doing something he enjoys with his vineyard. If traveling to the east coast is something that he wouldn't want to do, I'm not exaggerating when I say that he is probably the only player that I would hop a cross country flight in order to get him to sign my poster (I'd even purchase some of his wines while I was out there!). And, while I understand that a public event that is probably a long shot at best, I would also jump at the opportunity of getting him at a private signing.
I remember when you would have him appear at several shows each year, but never tired of seeing him (and foolishly thought he'd be appearing at your shows forever!). I know that everyone keeps saying it on this board, but if you could work your magic one more time and somehow make him available for an autograph, either public or private, you would have the eternal gratitude, and forever be in the debt, of hundreds of Mets collectors (starting with me!).
Thanks for everything! Steve

I remember when you had Seaver at one of his last appearances back in 2009. You had a special that weekend Seaver on balls and flats for $49 and bats for $79. Inscriptions were $10 . I got Seaver on a hall of fame ball with 8 inscriptions for $129. Ball came out amazing . Probably my favorite signed ball in my collection and that's coming from a Yankee fan. Also got Seaver on my 300 wins bat that day. Only regret is I didn't get him on a 16x20 photo .
