These are not on the website but have been announced:
Reggie Rijo Gooden Boehringer Raines Shantz Lyle Bobby Richardson Sojo
Logo for the show also leads you to believe in the following:
Whitey Winnie Girardi or Justice

These names are most definitely indicative of the rest of the roster to come. It's a shame to watch an organization that once REALLY tried to put their best into this show and now just phone it in year after year.

I see I'm not the only collector who feels that MAB isn't anywhere like they once were. I used to go to all those great shows they had in Secaucus. I recall getting so many big names and all the great dealer tables present. They had a stack of flyers there announcing their next show and its guests. I can place the origin of their decline when the surprise cancellations that were never announced until you arrived at the show. The first few times I gave them the benefit of the doubt. But then it started happening nearly all the time. And if you mailed something in for signing, it became pot luck whether it was going to be signed how you requested it, when you would finally get it back, if you ever got it back at all. But the biggest indication of their downward spiral is how Mollie (or anyone there for that matter) barely answers customers here or on their Facebook page. I just wonder how and why they allowed this to happen? I REALLY used to love their shows way back when!

Hey everyone... Yes, I can speak for myself and acknowledge that I haven't been on here in some time due to working shows just about every weekend in October and November, creating and launching the auction site, getting ready for black friday/cyber monday, and ya know all my regular duties as well, lol... But heyyoooo... I'm back now. I have told everyone multiple times you can email me if you have a pressing question at Laura@mab-celebrity.com or call the office and ask for me. I speak to several customers regularly. I understand the forum is here and you want us to check it, but a forum is a place for a community to discuss things. If you want a question answered directly and immediately you should go straight to the source. As far as shows are concerned, I am probably not the best person to answer why we do or don't have shows as often as you all would like, but it's not like we aren't having NJ shows anymore at all. We did just have one in November, we have one in January, we have one in March, October, and November. That's 4 NJ based shows in one year. A company grows and progresses, and things aren't going to always stay the same. Companies I like change the way they do things all the time. It's not MAB forgetting its roots or anything like that. You want 8 shows a year, but don't want to see Ron Blomberg 4 times, so there HAS to be a happy medium. Also, just because you attend or know about every show doesn't mean everyone else does. So maybe you met Dave Winfield 3 times, but there's always someone at the same event who is still shaking and anxious to meet him for the first time. And going out and getting athletes who never do shows or are a bazillion dollars (okay that's maybe an exaggeration) aren't something that's done easily. There's a reason certain athletes don't do shows. Believe it or not, sometimes they just flat out don't want to. Whoever said the auction items started at retail pricing was grossly incorrect. A Brooks Robinson stat ball was listed at 19.99. That's just one of the items I can think off of the top of my head. If you had a problem with the pricing please note that not all the items were owned by MAB, so we did not set the pricing for all of the items. I think I covered most of the latest stuff on here. Go ahead and respond, fight back, bash me or whatever you want on here... but if you have a question, email me

As far as Mab's first auction I found and bought for myself 3 items . 90% of my collection is from in person appearances. But every few years I get caught up in auction like I did with steiners a few years back . I bought a cal Ripken hof 15x20" Cooperstown canvas plaque with his full name Calvin Edwin ripken jr with hof inscription for under $80 the canvas alone runs $40-$60 without the signature . Amazing deal to me. A Carlton Fisk signed stat ball with 13 inscriptions yes I said 13 inscriptions for under $90 again amazing deal, And a really nice miracle on ice custom jersey signed by 19 members for a little over $200. For someone like me who hardly ever buys anything presigned I thought I got some really good deals from Mab's first auction. If you want to bash Laura for that I think yall are crazy. As far as shows are concerned I hope in the near future there shows get bigger and better like in the past, and I hope it starts with this coming Yankee show.
Some request for me are. Mel stottlemire (I know his health hasn't been great) Chris chambliss Tony cloninger Joe borowski Darren Holmes Grame Lloyd ( lives down under bring him to jersey) David wells Mike Lowell Tino Martinez Dale sveum Ricky ledee Ichiro suzuki
Fran Healy Goose gossage Mike Heath Cliff Johnson Jay Johnson Fred Stanley Brian Doyle Dick tidrow (lol) Jim Beattie Gary thomasson Carlos may Dell Alston Gil Paterson George zeber Micky klutts Jimmy Wynn Marty Perez Stan Thomas Gene locklear Dave kingman Bobby cox
And my favorite non Yankee of all time ken Griffey jr. I know he was a upper deck exclusive for his whole career. But maybe it's over now and hopefully you get him this year as a mab exclusive when he's annoced into the hof in January.

Go ahead and respond, fight back, bash me or whatever you want on here... but if you have a question, email me Laura - I have been and will continue to be as big of a supporter as any of MAB, but I don't agree with your explanation regarding a lack of response from MAB on the message boards and social media platforms. For starters, I fully agree that if a customer had a specific concern, it is best to call up the office directly or to e-mail directly. You go to the source directly, as you said. However, MAB has specifically set up their own message boards and social media platforms as a way of (a) allowing the community to discuss things, as you said, AND (b) allowing MAB customer service to interact with customers in a more controlled environment, where it is easier for MAB facilitate these interactions. This was the explanation for why MAB deleted their forum on SHL and migrated it to their personal website. It is impossible to achieve (b) without a MAB presence on the boards. As someone who has attended dozens and dozens of MAB shows thru the years, I am familiar with the amount of effort and attention to detail that goes into planning a show. MAB has always been the "gold standard" when it comes to hosting themed shows. No other promoter has ever been able to match MAB in this regard. However, not everyone has had the chance to go to as many in person shows as I have, and thus has not necessarily seen first hand how great of a company MAB is. It is terrible customer service to have message boards and social media platforms set up without someone regularly monitoring and responding to messages. For a customer who has not attended as many shows as I have, or for someone who relies on MAB thru mail order and is only able to form an opinion based on online interactions, I can totally understand how this would be a turn off and how they might see MAB as being unorganized. Could you blame them? There was a potential October show planned in NJ that was taken down from the website without any explanation. Up until last week, no update was provided for the big Yankee show in January. As Reader said earlier, I too was giving MAB the benefit of the doubt and was concerned that the lack of response was not a result of something serious/unfortunate occurring. So at the end of the day, I'm glad to hear that everyone is in good health and that the very long lack of MAB presence online was a result of other priorities and hecticness. Please take my comments constructively, as I fully plan to attend many more shows and will continue to be a strong supporter of MAB as I have for the past 10 years. However, it would be nice for their to be a continued presence on the boards to help inform customers. This is only for MAB's benefit - MAB has always prided itself on good customer service.

They leaked names on SHL forums. Not sure why they haven't posted on the site. On SHL forums, it lists the outfield of Lynn, Evans, Rice
