Hi Mollie: Just wanted to follow up on my earlier posting. Would be very happy if Swoboda can make the March show and I'm looking forward to seeing who else you're able to get for that weekend. I was at the JP Jets show yesterday and the turnout was much, much larger than I expected. The only downside was that Winston Hill cancelled a few days before the show. As lots of folks were collecting Jets Ring of Honor inductees (as well as SB III team items), there were many questions about whether he would be at another show sometime soon. If you could somehow get Winston Hill (and other SB III Jets who were not at this reunion show such as Jim Turner, John Neidert, Bill Rademacher, Jim Richards, Mark Smolinski, and Steve Thompson, it would be very much appreciated by myself as well as many other Jets collectors working on these projects! I know this might not work into the theme of the March show, but maybe it's something that could be done sometime in the near future. Thanks again! Yes, Winston Hill - need him! Get him!

Hi Mollie,
I have some names for the March show.
I know you said last year you were going to do a Cy Young Show, but that didn't happen. How about some special Cy Young pitchers?
Someone mentioned the Perry Brothers. I think that's a great idea. Only brothers ever to win.
Don Newcombe. I don't know if he travels anymore, but the first Cy winner would be a knockout.
Mike Marshall. First relief pitcher to win the Cy.
I know Seaver, and Koufax are out of the question, but how bout some guys we really don't see much?
Fernando Valenzuela Vida Blue Jim Lonborg Steve Stone(not sure if he's available)
Thanks for listening............
See You on the 30th!

Joe Carter hit one of the most important homeruns in playoff history, but really hasn't done many autograph shows ever. I think he would be very appropriate for a Catch the Moment show.

Also, if you could get creative with Randy Johnson's pricing, I'm sure his demand would be high. It's a similar conversation to the A-Rod dilemma in the previous thread. If he's priced starting at $250, there's only going to be so many guests interested...but if he's priced starting at half as much say $125, it's likely that many guests would purchase multiple tickets and his net sales would be much higher.
I would also like to see Tony LaRussa and Bert Blyleven. Other than in Cooperstown, MAB hasn't had either of them since their HOF entry year. Blyleven is also an MAB exclusive, but due to his announcing schedule, is limited to offseason dates.

Fanatics announced Kirk Gibson as part of their lineup at the next Chicago show. I'll assume the pricing in NJ will be similar. And I will pass without even having to think about it. As far as 1984 Tigers go, I could get Trammell, Whitaker, Parrish and Morris all for less than the price of one Gibson. As far as World Series home run dramatics, Joe Carter is less than half of a Gibson ticket. So while I'm sorry the guy has Parkinson's, FU to him and all the promoters who bring him in and have the nerve to ask these prices.

I like the Pedro/Ramon Martinez idea.
How about 2 guys who were traded for each other? Steve Carlton & Rick Wise.
Carlton, we all know is a Hall of Famer, and was the first pitcher to win 4 Cy Young awards, and Wise pitched a no-hitter, and was the winning pitcher in game 6 of the '75 World Series vs Cincinnati(the famous Fisk HR).
Then again, you could bring the Eck along, since Wise was traded for him later on in his career------traded for 2 future Hall of Famers.

Mab bring him in to this show along with David Robinson and other basketball hof'ers never seen at one of your shows
