Its probably a little early since there is no open topic for this show, but here are some early "wish list"
In line with celebrating the 1998 team (one of the greatest ever ... this season with the Dodgers shows its hard to replicate the 114 wins and go on to win the World Series)
Mike Lowell Dale Sveum Darren Holmes Joe Borowski Ryan Bradley Luis Sojo (attended a fair amount of MAB shows, just never timed him) Jose Cardenal Mel Stottlemyre (hoping he is healthy and able to travel) Graeme Lloyd
and 3 former catchers: Joe Torre, Joe Girardi and Jorge Posada (it about time he does his second show for MAB, maybe something can be worked out to donate the proceed of the signing to help the people in Puerto Rico, since he has been a big advocate for raising funds for his home country)

You got the greatest team in the history of sports with tons of available players waiting for a phone call. This show once brought in 50+ players a weekend with no gimmicks like "special guests" because they are after all the NY Yankees. This weekend of what should be a premiere even has been in decline for near 10 years. It's as if MAB doesn't want to give up the ghost of what this show used to be but neither do they want to put much effort into making it anything more than a retread special. Three announced signers so far, Wade Boggs and Reggie Jackson who are like Saturday and Sunday, they're around every weekend, and, surprise, surprise, "special guest" The Fonz Henry Winkler. A Yankee show should NEVER need a "special guest" especially a 70+ year old actor who any collectors under 35 never heard of. This show is dead but the next of kin, MAB, doesn't want to pull the plug.

Years ending in 8? How original. OK, I'll play along. Here are my requests:
1958: Tony Kubek, Art Ditmar, Johnny James 1968: Bobby Cox, Jake Gibbs, Rocky Colavito, Mel Stottlemyre 1978: Dick Tidrow, Jim Beattie, and request that nobody else from this team be at the show 1988: Dave Righetti, Roberto Kelly 1998: really don't care as the only players I'd be interested in will cost more than I'd be willing to spend on them, or you just can't get them 2008: Chien-Ming Wang, Hideki Matsui, Mike Mussina
I'd buy tickets for everyone I listed, multiples on practically all of them. That said, I'd be willing to go to Vegas and bet big that with the exception of 1 or 2, none of them will be at this show.

Bobby Cox would be a really great name considering chipper is a client and will be inducted most likely to the hall of fame David Wells Nick Swisher Orlando El Duque Hernandez Tommy John Mel Stottlemyre Joe Torre Horace Clarke and i hope they bring in the whole class of new hall of famers again like they have been. Im guessing it will be Chipper, Vlad, Hoffman and Thome

I will also throw my name in there for wanting Posada. It is not like he needs to sign, but jeez, you never see him. Any feedback on if he is asked to do shows, and what his reply/demands are? He was doing a book signing on Long Island, but had a ton of rules. No posed photos, h may leave early, etc.

Gossage and Nettles added. Come on, in the paraphrase of our freakishly orange leader, "Make the Yankee show great again".

Lots of nice names were just added this week - Matsui, Girardi being the headliners. Mollie, here’s a few more suggestions to consider: - Jim Abbott ***** (would love to see him!) - Gary Sheffield - Randy Velarde - Chuck Knoblauch Thanks!

That’s really a great price posted for Hideki Matsui. I got him at the Nationals last year and he was twice what MAB has for him. Wish I waited. 👍 to Mollie.
