Hi Mollie...
Figured I'd be the first to jump on board and make some suggestions/requests for the March show.
First, I was wondering if some of the 1969 Mets could be gathered for a semi-reunion. I know back in the 90's, 69 Mets reunion shows were commonplace, but lately as those guys have gotten older, you rarely see them. There are the guys who still make appearances (Kranepool, Harrelson), but others like Boswell, Gaspar, Martin, Gentry, Swoboda, Shamsky, Garrett and others haven't been around as frequently.
Specifically, I'd love to see Koosman & Grote as I have a few items that I'd like to get signed by both of them.
Additionally, It'd be great if you could get some Mets from the 60's who don't make too many appearances. I really enjoyed seeing Jay Hook and Jim Hickman at the show last year and more guys like that would be really appreciated! (Tommy Davis, Joe Christopher, Jack Fisher, etc.)
Lastly, was wondering if it was possible to get some of the members of the 69 Jets who will not be at the JP show later this month. I know many people who are working on (or starting) 69 Jets pieces at that show and any additional players would go a long way in helping those projects (Don Maynard, who cancelled, Jim Richards and Jim Turner just to name a few).
As always, thanks for your help!

Swoboda-----Gentry-----Garrett-----Grote. I'm all in. But Koosman's graph has gotten horrible. I got him the last time Mollie had him. Very shaky. Looks like a child signed it. I just started a new piece, but even if he signed for free, I would pass. Just my opinion.

Hi Mollie,
I'll throw some suggestions for your March show out there.....
1. Don Newcombe. First ever CY Young Winner.
2. Jim And Gaylord Perry. First, and only brothers to win the Cy Young award.
Since you had talked about doing a Cy Young show last year, I thought I would make these suggestions.
Also, I see someone suggested Ron Swoboda. Great World Series Catch. Great idea.
Thank You

Hey Guys,
As you see, I'm trying to check the board as often as I can. I am calling Ron Swoboda right now. Great call. Do u like the names so far?
Keep suggestions coming. If I bring too many '69 names it will affect JP bc they're having some of them.
Thank you so much!! MAB

Hi Mollie,
Nice selection of names so far.
I would like to request Lou Brock. All time National League stolen base champ. Holds many records, including most steals in a world series......twice with 7. First to steal 900 bases.

Phil Simms Hideki Matsui David Wells Willis Reed John Havlicek Bob Cousy
As far as the names listed so far - without prices I don't have an opinion. I'd get Branca but seems like he's always cancelled a day or 2 before every appearance he's listed for. I'd be interested in Gibson but not at "I have Parkinson's - get me while you can" pricing. If he costs as much as a hall of famer, I wouldn't get him.
I don't think Lou Brock is going to be an option. Last I heard, he's hoping to be able to appear at opening day for the Cardinals as a goal. So an autograph appearance a month before that isn't going to happen.

Hi Mollie,
I like some of the requests so far. SWOBODA. Hey, how 'bout Cleon Jones(He caught the last out of the series)
Also like the Perry Brothers suggestion. I would get both of them.
I would like to suggest some "catchers" of no hitters.
Jason Varitek. I believe he has caught the most no hitters(4?) Ivan Rodriguez Jerry Grote Ron Hassey Bob Boone

I like the basketball names I'm seeing above. I've seen these players advertised around the country but I never see them in NY/NJ. Seems we only get Clyde Frazier.
David Robinson Hakeem Olajuwon Oscar Robertson Jerry West Bob Cousy John Havlicek Willis Reed etc.

Crazy request....
Jeremy Shockey...
I have a game used jersey I have been trying to get signed for years. I'm sure alot of people would want him on some Giant Pieces.
Maybe Odell Beckham with the "catch" you could combine him with Manningham & Tyree.

How about a reunion of the 1983 Pine Tar game?
Mattingly, Guidry, Griffey Sr., Randolph, Gamble, Nettles, Goose etc. and from the Royals Brett, Gaylord Perry ( ran off with the bat), Bud Black, Frank White etc. Ump Tim McClelland. I was really bummed Guidry was a no show for last year's show.

Hi Mollie:
Just wanted to follow up on my earlier posting. Would be very happy if Swoboda can make the March show and I'm looking forward to seeing who else you're able to get for that weekend.
I was at the JP Jets show yesterday and the turnout was much, much larger than I expected. The only downside was that Winston Hill cancelled a few days before the show. As lots of folks were collecting Jets Ring of Honor inductees (as well as SB III team items), there were many questions about whether he would be at another show sometime soon. If you could somehow get Winston Hill (and other SB III Jets who were not at this reunion show such as Jim Turner, John Neidert, Bill Rademacher, Jim Richards, Mark Smolinski, and Steve Thompson, it would be very much appreciated by myself as well as many other Jets collectors working on these projects!
I know this might not work into the theme of the March show, but maybe it's something that could be done sometime in the near future.
Thanks again!
