I know This Seems Like a Long Shot, Molly Has Had Him At Her Shows Twice Already But If She Can Pull It Off Just One More Time I Would Really Like To See Gary Sheffield Return To In This Show. He Holds One Of The Biggest Milestones In Mets Franchise History. Molly I Know You Said That You And Meade Chasky Don't Particularly Get Along When It Comes Down To Bringing In One Of His Clients But I Would Truly Appreciate It If You Could Pull Off Bringing Him In For This Show. I'm Looking For A Slow "Yes" Instead Of A Fast "No". He doesn't hold ANY METS RECORDS

I'm sure he means that he hit a major milestone while wearing a Mets uniform. And it might very well be the most significant personal milestone achieved by a player wearing a Mets uniform. That said, I'm fairly certain that barring a miracle or someone coming out of it with their tail tucked between their legs, it ain't happening.

He Was The First Player In Mets Franchise History To Hit 500 Hrs and The 25th Player In MLB History To Do So. That's The Milestone That I'm Talking About

And As For Your Comment Hendry About Me Just being A Yankee Fan That Didn't Get Him What Does That Exactly Mean? I'm A Baseball Fan Who Happens To Like Both The Yankees And The Mets And Who Has been A Fan Of Sheff Since He Was Drafted By The Brewers. If Possible, I Would Like To See Him Be Apart Of This Show because I Am A Fan Baseball...Not Just The Yankees

He Was The First Player In Mets Franchise History To Hit 500 Hrs and The 25th Player In MLB History To Do So. That's The Milestone That I'm Talking About I think he was trying to say, he only hit 10 homers as a Met. He only played 100 games. Not really a big Met, if you know what I'm talking about. Glavine won his 300th game as a Met, but he was here five years at least, and won about 60-65 games, and even he isn't really thought of as a Met. I'm guessing that was his point.

It's probably more the wording you used.
You said he holds one of the biggest milestones in Mets franchise history. That's an individual milestone----for Sheffield----not the Mets. Duke Snider hit his 400th homer as a Met. Honestly,------big deal. Good for him, but, as a Met fan, who cares? Snider only hit 14 as a Met.

The truth about the cancellations finally comes out....
"I am sorry to announce to all my fans that I will not be able to attend the Sports show in San Francisco this Sunday.
Unfortunately this is the third time I have been cancelled by MAB Celebrity Services in the last 14 months. White Plains NYC, Pittsburgh, and now San Fran.
Was looking forward to seeing my friends Ricky Steamboat, Hulk Hogan, Pete Rose and others. Just wanted to assure my fans that Ric Flair does not cancel.
Note to self, Never work with MAB Celebrity Services again!"

Hopefully this show is starting to take shape and we see some names start to pop up soon. If the JPRS show this past April was any indication, there is an appetite for some more unique Mets names. Stone, Capra, Vail, Sasser and Martinez all had healthy lines and I think in general that the show did pretty well. One name they have had a problem locking down is Koosman. They can't convince him to come back. Maybe you can. Grote signed for 90 minutes straight. I imagine you would have the same luck with Koosman.

With the Mets show coming up on 3 months down the road, I figured I'd post my truncated list of wants/needs after posting a laundry list of names earlier. The 7 guys I would be thrilled to see are:
Seaver (of course) Koosman Craig Swan Steve Henderson Doug Flynn Robin Ventura Ron Hunt
Don't expect to see them all there in September, but 2 or 3 would be fantastic (and more than that would make a truly memorable show!).

Anyone else, like me, starting to think this show isn't going to happen? Less than three months to go, and not even one player listed, but the "Champions Festival", which is two weeks later, already has 7 players listed.

Yes I only have so much money to spend on shows, so the longer it takes to see a guest list, I will have spent my money on other shows. And they aren't all MAB shows either, so if they want my money, they need to start listing players
